Kris Busch– Preschool Director
While Kris has no formal degree, she does have 28 years of experience, all served at Salem. Her career with Salem began in 1982 teaching 3 year olds, moved on to 4 year olds, then Kindergarten, has served as Pre-school Director for the last 14 years and now also serves Salem as principal. She enjoys sewing, scrapbooking, cooking, cruising, and reading. She is an avid Razorback Baseball fan (GO HOGS!). Her newest hobby is exploring, sampling, and learning about wines. She loves that she gets to be a part of the magic and excitement when children realize they have learned or accomplished something new. Kris also loves the children's infectious laughter and unconditional hugs. She says she has the best job in the world.

Peggy Weidler – Kindergarten/First Grade
Peggy graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 1978 with a B.A. degree in geography and a B.S. in elementary education. She also earned a Master’s Degree there in 1987. She started her service at Salem in 2000. She enjoys sewing, baking, and reading. She reads mystery, romance, and cook books. She collects bells, nativity sets, and lambs. She cheers for whatever team her friends are cheering for at the time. Peggy sees children as our future, and she is shaping the future. She says the seed she plants now will bloom and be productive in 20 years.
